시스템은 승객의 경로에 관계없이 모든 승객에게 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 능력만큼만 강력합니다.
학교 시스템을 여객선에 비유하면 학생은 승객이고 교사는 항해사라고 할 수 있습니다. 그러나 많은 가정에서는 탑승 경사로가 너무 가파르고 지도가 혼란스럽고 엔진이 자녀의 고유한 요구에 맞게 조정되지 않았습니다.
저는 서로 밀접하게 연결된 두 가지 역할을 맡고 있습니다.
저는 옹호자로서 가족들의 목소리를 듣고 자녀들이 간과되지 않도록 가족들 곁에 서 있습니다.
저는 전략가로서 기관실부터 항해 갑판, 등대에 이르기까지 시스템 자체를 점검하고 강화하여 명확성, 책임감, 세심함을 가지고 운영되도록 합니다.
제 업무는 임상 과학과 교육 전략의 교차점에 놓여 있습니다. 복잡한 의료 데이터를 명확하고 실행 가능한 IEP 및 504 계획으로 번역하든, 학생들을 미묘하게 방해하는 제도적 병목 현상을 파악하든, 제가 집중하는 것은 모든 승객을 안전하게 태울 수 있는 페리가 만들어지도록 하는 것입니다.
우수한 교육은 단순히 성적에만 국한된 것이 아니기 때문입니다. 학생들이 자신 있게 미래를 향해 나아갈 수 있도록 지식, 회복력, 생활 기술, 웰빙을 갖추게 하는 것입니다.
